Sharon S
(Child of Resident)

My father has now been in this home for a year, and I find the staff very friendly towards myself and the residents in the home, they are caring and helpful and always have time to chat and joke with the residents and myself when I visit. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them from the cook

right down to the caring staff. They go above and beyond to help with my father and other residents

Lovely month of activities and events for my mother to enjoy. The hairdresser visits every Wednesday and does a lovely job. The entertainment in the evening of music and dancing and maybe a glass of wine. The Easter Fete was good fun.

My father became a resident at The Windmill last August, and my mother followed him about 2 weeks later. My father was terminally ill, and my mother had suffered a severe stroke in July. Both were treated with utmost dignity at all times and up to his death.

All the staff are polite and helpful, aware of the dignity and diagnosis of residents. From what I've seen the food and refreshments look nice. The team were very welcoming when my aunt arrived and reassuring, answered all questions. I am very satisfied with my aunt's placement and she has put weight on and for most of the time is happy but her dementia confuses her.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at the Windmill Care Home.

All staff are understanding and kind very friendly. All staff are very understanding and compassionate with the residents. The home is always clean and tidy. The food is outstanding, fresh and well-prepared and a good variety of choices. Staff always keep up update with events and keep you informed

I cannot fault this care home at all. From my first visit to assess its suitability I have found the staff to be extremely helpful, friendly and caring, making my Father-in-Law welcome instantly on his arrival. Since then they have been amazing, and my father-in-law's health has improved. Nothing is

too much trouble, and the home is kept beautifully clean

I have always found my experiences of visiting Windmill Care Home to be made inviting by all members of staff. The person I visit is always very complimentary about the way he is treated and the way the home is run. With special reference to the food.

There always seems to be plenty of staff available to care for the residents. They are all very kind and caring. The management team also appear to be on the ball. It is evident they know what is going on at any given time. They too are so friendly and approachable.

Overall, a warm and friendly atmosphere. Good care of residents. Always feel welcome when visiting. We believe that our mother is well cared for. She appears contented and settled. We are more than happy with the care she receives from the team.

My husband has now been in your home for ten weeks. I cannot fault anything of the care that you have given him; very considerate and, most of all, kind in the total care you have given him. All the carers are extremely helpful and very thoughtful. It's a very homely care home and I would recommend

it to anyone.

The manager and the team have all been exceptional in the care of my Father. Both literally with his every day (and night) needs and with the broader needs of his care requirements.

I can not speak highly enough of the professionalism of all team members and their considerate personal attention they

pay to all their residents. Nothing is too much trouble for them at any time.

When my Uncle left the hospital, he could not speak well, refused to eat and was bed bound. So far, in the short while he has been there, he is eating and drinking, walking with the carer's help and trying to do it on his own, so no longer  bedbound. His speech has improved massively and can have a conversation with you. I have no doubt that with the amazing care he is getting, he will continue to improve.
